Isn’t parenting wonder-full?

And also a little… exhausting, exhilarating, messy, lovely, overwhelming, amazing?

Having a child is a really big deal! We are honored to partner with you from the very beginning of your journey as parents. We want to be a consistent source of encouragement, strength, and resources as you raise your child to develop a faith of their very own.

With that in mind, we periodically offer BabyD (Baby Dedication) for families of babies and preschoolers.

BabyD is more than an event. It is an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child.

To participate in BabyD, follow these simple steps:

1 – Sign up to attend BabyD Orientation by emailing our Family Ministry Director.

2 – Attend BabyD Orientation to discover what to expect at BabyD.

3 – Listen to the brief talks linked below:

• Talk 1: Jeff Henderson
• Talk 2: Andy & Sandra Stanley
• Talk 3: Kendra Flemming
• Bonus Talk: Sandra Stanley

4 – Complete the preparation homework by discussing two questions and noting your answers:

• What are five values that you wish for your child?
• What are two habits that you as a family want to keep?

5 – Ask others to come with you.

• Parenting is hard work, and you’ll need people to encourage you along the way. Ask family, close friends, and/or your small group to join you in this celebration.
• You’ll want to ask one of these people to plan to pray for you as you huddle as a group at the end of the event.

6 – Begin compiling 10-15 pictures of you and your child. Make sure they are wide pics, not tall ones.
